So I started a new book a few days ago. After several suggestions from several people, I decided to venture into the non-fiction category for a quickie. It's called "Fingerprints of the Gods: The Evidence of Earth's Lost Civilization".

Now I'm not usually one for those crazy conspiracy theories and whathave you. But I figured that a bit of a change is nice. There isn't really a specific theory that is pushed on you by the author (other than the possible existence of some sort of pre-historical early civilization) - only a presentation of several pieces of information which seem to contradict some of science's generally accepted theories. It also describes a lot of interesting "artifacts" and "informational tidbits" that certainly exist, but don't really have a commonly accepted explanation. As long as the book sticks to relatively accepted "facts", I'm interested to see what kind of alternate possible explanations he might have.

Anyway, the beginning is started out with some interesting discrepancies in maps of various dates, and seems promising. I'll let you know how it goes.

PS - I also picked up cheap copies of Homer's famous "Iliad" and "Odyssey", so don't think I've strayed from the fiction too far.
